- 14th Contracting Squadron, Columbus AFB, MS announces the intent to issue a Request for Proposal for the Repair and Installation of Roofing Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The work performed under this contract shall consist of providing all plant, labor, transportation, materials, equipment, and the performance of all work necessary to repair built-up roofs, sheet metal roofs, fiberglass shingle roofs and flashing, and install complete new roofing of various types as required on various buildings or structures and incidental related work located on Columbus Air Force Base, Mississippi. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the specifications and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. This is a competiive best value source selection in which competing offeror's past performance history will be evaluated on a basis approximately equal to price considerations. One Firm Fixed-Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract will be awarded from this RFP with three possible option years. This procurement is restricted to HUBZONE contractors with the experience of the requested scope of work. The NAICS Code is 238160 with a Standard Size of $14.0 MIL. The magnitude of construction is between $5 MIL and $10 MIL. The guaranteed minimum is $50,000 and the maximum for the life of the contract is $10,000,000. Request for Proposal (RFP) and any subsequent amendments will be posted at FedBizOps https://www.fbo.gov only. Paper copies will not be provided. Contractor will be solely responsible for monitoring Internet and obtaining the solicitation, amendments and downloading them for their files and will need the viewers for Microsoft word (.doc) and Acrobat reader (.pdf) to be able to view the solicitation documents. All interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004 and 252.232-7009. CCR can be accessed at www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423. The CCR registration must be completed before award can be made. Offerors shall be registered and complete the Offerors Representations and Certifications on the Online Representation & Certification Application (ORCA) homepage at www.bpn.gov/orca prior to award being able to be made. The proposal due date will be 25 June 2010. One group site visit is scheduled for 16 June 2010 @ 0900 hours. Prospective contractors are requested to submit their company name, address, telephone/fax numbers and e-mail address and a list of individuals with their date of birth and SSN that will be attending the site visit. This information shall be submitted three workdays before the scheduled site visit for entry to base.
