- This Statement of Objective (SOO) dated 26 May 10 relaces any other SOO. Also, document entitled, Specification for Outside Plant Telecommunications Cable Installation at Langely AFB VA, Sept 2009 is NO LONGER APPLICABLE TO THIS REQUIREMENT. Drawings for Communication Drops Questions and Answers for Communication Drops This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Submit only written quotations for RFQ FA4800-10-AB-0507. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-12. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The associated NAICS code is 517110 with 1500 employees' size standard. This RFQ contains one line item. The line item description is as follows: CLIN 0001: Install communication drops in various locations in and around the 27th and 94th Fighter Squadrons on Langley AFB VA Site Visit: Scheduled for Thursday, 20 May 10, at 9:00 am at the 94th Fighter Squadron. Contractors interested in attending must contact Alice Brinkley at 757-764-2241, or via email, alice.brinkley@langley.af.mil no later that 4:00 pm on Tuesday, 18 May 10, to insure timely access onto the base prior to the actual site visit date. End Item Description. See attached Statement of Objectives for SCIF Cabling Installation for F789 and F791 and Specifications for Outside Plant Telecommunications Cable Installation for necessary details. FOB point is Destination. The required delivery date is 30 days after Receipt of Award. PROVISIONS/CLAUSES: The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Item, applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-3 applies to this acquisition, requiring all offers to be registered in ORCA.bpn.gov, or to fill out the clause in its entirety.
