- The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Langley Research Center(LaRC) is hereby issuing an abbreviated DRAFT Request for Proposal (RFP) for theoperation of the NASA Center for Aerospace Information (CASI).The general scope of thesupport services is for the Contractor to provide all labor, management, materials, andresources to operate the CASI facilities and support all Scientific and TechnicalInformation (STI) Program activities, including content management and informationtechnology (IT) infrastructure support. In addition, the Contractor shall support theNASA Headquarters (HQ) Office of the Chief Technologist (OCT) in the production of theSpinoff Magazine and with various research and marketing activities. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 519120 and $7.0M, respectively. The anticipated release date of the Final RFP NNL10ZB1017R is on or about June 29, 2010with an anticipated proposal due date of on or about July 30, 2010.Prospective offerors are invited to submit written comments or questions to: FranRisinger via email at fran.risinger@nasa.gov, by no later than June 10, 2010. All contractual and technical questions must be submitted in writing (e-mail or FAX). Telephone questions will not be accepted.An ombudsman has been appointed. See NASA Specific Note 'B'.The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over theInternet. These documents will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may beaccessed using a WWW browser application.
