- This is advance notice of the issuance of RFP W91QUZ-10-R-0037 (cross-reference Sources Sought Market Survey Announcement. The National Capital Region Contracting Center (NCRCC), on behalf of the Army Chief Information Officer (CIO/G6), intends to procure Virtual Interactive Information Assurance Training utilizing FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. This acquisition will be a total small business set-aside. The applicable NAICS code is 611430, Professional and Management Development Training, with a size standard of $7,000,000. This acquisition and a portion of the required services are currently being performed under ITES-2S Contract W91QUZ-04-D-0004-0005 awarded to Lockheed Martin Corporation with NACON Consulting LLC as subcontractor. The Performance Work Statement (PWS) defines the requirements for the Contractor to provide non-personal services for Information Technology (IT) support to the United States Army Chief Information Officer (CIO)/G6, Cyber Information Assurance Directorate. The Contractor shall complete various tasks in support of the Armys Information Assurance specialized training program mission to include the creation update to virtual training modules, updates to the IA self assessment training modules programs. The tasks identified in the PWS will assist the Army to effectively meet Department of Defense (DOD) and Army mandates for specialized information assurance education, training and awareness materials. The contractor shall provide project management, course module development, a web portal to host the training and tracking system for the training modules, technical support and support to Army IA symposium and workshops where training materials need to be presented to Army audiences. Contractor personnel and facility must be maintained at DoD Secret Security clearance. The primary place of performance will be the contractors facility. The RFP will be issued approximately June 10, 2010. The projected due date for proposals will be approximately June 30, 2010. A Time and Materials (T&M) type contract. The anticipated period of performance will be from September 1, 2010 to August 31, 2011 with two 12-month option periods. Nothing follows.
