Description

The Department of Labor on behalf of the Office of Worker's Compensation Programs / Division of Information Technology Management and Services intends to award a Brand Name contract to an authorized reseller of Syncsort Software Licenses. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to provide additional and renewed software licensing. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate the required services with limited sources IAW with FAR, Part 6.302-1(c) - Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements (Application for Brand Name Description) This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all capability statements of no more than 3 pages received by 11:59 a.m., June 2, 2010. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that additional competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements. A determination by the Government not to remove limited competition for this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
