- Description
- The Fishlake National Forest - Fillmore Ranger District will furnish all the necessary materials for this project (including, but not limited to: 12 gauge-2 point/barbed-wire contained in 1/4 mile rolls, 6' steel T-posts, rolls of soft - 12 gauge/galvanized tie-wire, 44 to 48" wood stays made from juniper, Easy Fence brand-metal braces and panels, dry cement or epoxy for building on bedrock sites, along with enough materials for several barbed-wire access gates and numerous deep hollow crossings). The contractor is responsible for transporting all building materials out to the Project Area - work sites, which are located approximately 25 to 30 miles from the temporary storage facility (temporary storage is located in Fillmore, Utah); providing for material safety; ATV's, 4 wheel drive or high clearance 2 wheel drive vehicles, as necessary to access to job site; providing several fence post drivers, drills and drill bits, wire dispensers, barbed-wire stretchers, fence pliers, wire grips, protective gloves and any other item deemed necessary for building a boundary fence. Contractor will have 90 days from receipt of notice to proceed to complete the project meeting the standards established by the Government. There will be a site visit scheduled on Friday, June 11th, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Contractors should plan to meet in Scipio, Utah at the Scipio Fire Station located at 160 North State Street at 10:30 a.m. and travel out to the job site located a few miles away. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend. The presolicitation notice is scheduled to run on the FedBizOps website from May 26, 2010 through June 10, 2010; at which time the solicitation will be posted and will run through June 25, 2010 at 4:30 p.m. (mountain time). At the time that the solicitation notice is posted on June 10, 2010 the Request for Quotes document, Attachments and Cover Sheet will be posted for interested contractor retrieval.
