- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written Request for Quotation is attached. This Request for Quotation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12, effective 04 August 2006.This is set-aside for small business, NAICS Code 484220. The United States Marine Corps, Quantico, Virginia has a requirement for the following: CLIN 0001 1,200 Gross Tons - VDOT #3 Stone - delivery to Pole Barn, Marine Corps Base, Quantico, Virginia. CLIN 0002 80 Gross Tons - VDOT #3 Stone - delivery to Archery Range, Marine Corps Base, Quantico, Virginia. CLIN 0002 300 Gross Tons - Crusher Run - delivery to Pole Barn, Marine Corps Base, Quantico, Virginia. CLIN 0003 700 Gross Tons - Crusher Run - delivery to Archery Range, Marine Corps Base, Quantico, Virginia The following provisions/clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.211-16 Variation in Quantity (APR 1984) (a) A variation in the quantity of any item called for by this contract will not be accepted unless the variation has been caused by conditions of loading, shipping, or packing, or allowances in manufacturing processes, and then only to the extent, if any, specified in paragraph (b) below.
