- This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 in conjunction with FAR Subpart 13.5, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being accepted and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F3P3D10105A001 issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-41. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 335312 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. The requirement is for a brand name product and is solicited on an unrestricted basis; any qualifed, responsible offeror may submit a quote. The resultant award will be a Firm-Fixed-Price contract based on price and compliance with the technical specifications of the requirement as listed in the Description of Supplies. 1. Description of Supplies: CLIN 0001: Hobart GPU-400 Ground Power Unit Part #500160-401. 28VDC Solid State, Trailer Mounted, 1 Output, 3ph/208-230-460V/60Hz or equivalent. Quantity: Six (6) each CLIN 0002: Cable Assembly, 60' Oval head DC 402025-007 or equivalent. Quantity: Six (6) each CLIN 0003: Cable, 4 wire, Type W, #6/4 or equivalent. Quantity: Six (6), 10 feet each, total 60 feet CLIN 0004: 4607W Plug, Hubble, 3W4P 60 Amp 480V or equivalent. Quantity: Six (6) 2. FOB Delivery To: 12 FTW/MXMG Attention Scott Goad Hangar 16 5th Street East Randolph AFB, TX 78150 Desired Delivery is 6-8 weeks after receipt of order (ARO). Indicate proposed delivery in quote. 3. Basis of Award: Award will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Evaluation procedures in FAR Parts 12 & 13 will be utilized. The criteria listed below will be used to evaluate the quotes. (1) Conformance to the Description of Supplies (Technical) The requested items are essential to the Governments needs; therefore, the quote must clearly indicate that the supplies being furnished comply with requirements listed. (2) Price The firm fixed price shall include any applicable discounts. Since award will be based on initial responses, the offeror is encouraged to provide the most advantageous pricing in the initial response. Freight will be addressed as a separate line item if required. The ordering office will make a determination that the total firm fixed price is fair and reasonable based on the factors contained herein. 4. The Government will award a single contract resulting from responses to this solicitation to the lowest priced, technically acceptable, responsible offeror. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this solicitation, offerors must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, NO EXCEPTIONS.
