- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT, A MARKET SURVEY FOR WRITTEN INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. No telephone calls will be accepted requesting a bid package or solicitation. There is no bid package or solicitation. In order to protect the procurement integrity of any future procurement, if any, that may arise from this announcement, information regarding the technical point of contact will not be given and no appointments for presentations will be made. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southeast (NAVFAC-SE) PWD FEAD Pensacola is seeking information from Industry regarding availability, interest, and qualifications of certified HUBZONE small business concerns to perform services for lighting retrofits (bulbs, ballast) as well as replace existing plumbing fixtures with more efficient plumbing fixtures (aerators and low flush toilet valves) in multiple buildings at NAS Pensacola, FL. In addition to performing the work, the contractor will be required to provide a written analysis/projection of the energy savings expected to be derived from installation of the more energy efficient equipment. The Government will use responses to this SOURCES SOUGHT announcement to make appropriate future acquisition decisions. Respondents shall provide an e-mail response that includes their company profile from the CCR database. In addition, provide the documentation that supports your company's history of safe work practices. Specifically, submit your EMR, OSHA Form 300A, OSHA Incidence Rate, and OSHA DART Rate for 2007, 2008, and 2009. Lastly, in order to assess your past performance, please provide information for two contracts in the past two years that included the type work identified above for this project. Provide a contract number, and point of contact with current telephone number and/or e-mail address for the client. Provide information that demonstrates your ability to provide the analysis of anticipated energy savings resulting from the installation of the above equipment and any specific qualifications of the party who will provide the analysis. Interested parties are invited to submit information described in this announcement by 2:00 PM, Wednesday, 9 June 2010 via e-mail to alice.oberhausen@navy.mil.
