- Description
- The VA Medical Center in Erie, PA is seeking professional A/E services for the Facilities Condition Assessment (FCA) Asbestos Survey, Project #562-10-109. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, services, equipment, supervision and travel to perform a comprehensive asbestos survey of the entire Erie Veterans Affairs Medical Center campus. This survey shall also include the services provided by a certified industrial hygienist (IH). The contractor shall perform work under current local, state and federal regulations and ensure that normal hospital operations remain undisturbed. The contractor and IH shall inspect and verify the results of the previous asbestos survey performed at the Erie VAMC. The contractor and IH shall also document the condition of identified asbestos materials and collect samples of any suspect materials not documented in the previous survey. After preliminary review of contractor's findings by the VA's Regional Industrial Hygienist or designee, prepare a final exposure assessment report. Interested firms must submit one copy of completed SF330, electronically to paul.bosak@va.gov or via mail to the attention of the Contracting Officer (562/90C), VAMC, 135 East 38th Street, Erie, PA 16504 by close of business June 11, 2010.
