- The acquisition is for replacement of material stock to include the following: 15-5 PH Stainless Steel in the categories of bar, plate, and round. The 15-5 Stainless Steel must comply with the following specifications: SPEC. - AMS 5659: Bar Forging, Ring, and Extrusion. SPEC.-AMS 5862: Sheet, Strip, Plate. 7075-T6 Aluminum-Aircraft Grade in the categories of plate, sheet metal, bar and round. The 7075-T6 Aluminum must comply with the following specifications: SPEC. - AMS-QQ-A-250/ 12, 24: Bare Sheet & Plate. SPEC.-AMS-QQ-A-250/ 13, 25: Clad Sheet & Plate. SPEC.-AMS-QQ-A-225/9: Rolled or Drawn Bar & Rod. SPEC- AMS-QQ-A-200 / 11, 15: Extruded Bar, Rod, and Shapes. 6061-T6 Aluminum-Aircraft Grade in the categories of Sheet Metal. The Aluminum must comply with the following specifications: SPEC.-AMS-QQ-A-250/1; Sheet & Plate. SPEC.-AMS-QQ-A-225/8; Rolled bar, Rod, Shapes. SPEC. - AMS-QQ-A-200/8; Extruded Rod, Bar, Shapes & Tubing. SPEC.-AMS 4080 / 8082: Tubing, Seamless, Drawn. The specific size, quantities, and dimensions will be described in the solicitation. The Ship to Address is: Fort Eustis, VA 23604. Please contact Katherine Kearney by email: katt.kearney@us.army.mil to obtain the solicitation. The anticipated award date is August 4, 2010. The supplier will be required to provide paperwork documenting material certification to include a certified test report. The Contractor must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award. Product delivery is required within 3 weeks of award. Award will be made to the lowest price/technically acceptable offer that meets the required delivery date. The NAICS Code is 423510. Business Size is 100. The proposed contract action will be executed under the authority of the test program for commercial items (section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996.)
