- RECOVERY: THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE IS ISSUED FOR INFORMATIONAL AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE OR SOLICITATION. Any procurement that may result from this Sources Sought Notice will be funded in whole or in part by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA), Public Law 111-5. No Solicitation is currently available, and no unsolicited proposal will be entertained as a result of this Sources Sought Notice. The specific purpose of this notice is to identify those sources capable of providing the equipment identified below. This Sources Sought Notice encourages maximum participation by small businesses, veteran-owned businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, HUBZone small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, and women-owned small businesses. The NAICS code for this item is 238220 and the small business size standard is $12 million. The General Services Administration/Public Buildings Service, Northwest Arctic Region 10, is seeking domestic manufacturers that can provide a packaged wood pellet burning (Biomass) hot water boiler, in the range of 1,000,000 btu/hr output, with outside shaker Silo (3,000 cubic feet) above-ground storage. The boiler shall have 85% efficiency or greater, CO emissions less than 10 ppm, NOx less than 75 ppm, and dust particles less than 0.06 lbs/MMbtu, to include: - Automatic feed auger (with light barrier) from above ground silo; - Moving grate; - Primary air control valve; - Flue gas recirculation system; - Ignition fan; - Automatic de-ashing system; - Secondary air control valve with rotary blower; - Rotary combustion chamber; - Heat exchanger; - Safety heat exchanger; - Pneumatic pipe cleaning system; - Induced draft fan; - Automatic boiler management controls for all elements; - BACNET compatible controls for remote monitoring; - Thermal storage tank; - ASME and CSA approved; - Flue gas de-duster; - 5-year warranty; and - Made in USA, meeting ARRA Recovery criteria.
