- Description
- 17th Contracting Squadron, Goodfellow AFB, Texas, intends to issue a solicitation for a Protective Coating IDIQ Contract. Contractor shall furnish all layout, survey, plant, labor, supervision, quality control, materials, equipment, machines, tools, appliances, services, supplies, and incidentals and performing all operations in connection with project JCGU 10-1500, Protective Coatings IDIQ, work at Goodfellow AFB and the Base Recreational Camp, Texas complete and in strict accordance with the plans and specifications. This Solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This solicitation is being issued unrestricted pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstrative Program IAW FAR 19.1007 (b) (1). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238320 and the small business size standard is $14 Million dollars. The disclosure of magnitude of the project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000 IAW FAR 36.204(e). Contract minimum will be $3,000; contract maximum will be $1,000,000. Performance period will be a basic period of 365 calendar days, with two (2), 365 calendar days, option periods. All responsible Sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The entire solicitation will be made available on the Fedbizops website at http://www.fbo.gov/ on or about 14 June 2010. The site visit will be held on or about 28 June 2010, all offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. Access to the site will be limited to the organized site visit only. The Proposal due date will be on or about 14 July 2010. The exact date and time of the site visit and quote due date will be stated in the solicitation package. The government contemplates award of a Firm Fixed Price IDIQ to the responsible offeror whose Proposal conforms to the requirements of the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be provided. Emailed, mailed and hand-delivered proposals will be honored. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. An Offeror shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database as prescribed in FAR 52.204-7, and DFARS 252.204-7004 in order to receive award. CCR information can be obtained at CCR website at http:// ww.ccr.gov or calling 1-888-227-2423. Offerors must have also completed the on-line Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at http://www.orca.bpn.gov. Award of the proposed contract cannot be made to the prospective offeror without proper registration.
