- The Department of Veterans Affairs VISN 2, Stratton VA Medical Center, 113 Holland Ave, Albany NY 12208 intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Enfield Enterprises under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 Authorized by Statue and Public Law 109-461. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC). This procurement is for a project to renovate approximately 7,500 square feet of former laundry area in the basement of Building 3 at the Samuel S. Stratton VA Medical Center. The proposed contract action is for construction for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received by 3:00 P.M. May 28, 2010, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
