- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District awarded a firm fixed price Purchase Order to procure ELECTRICAL DREDGE EQUIPMENT IMPROVEMENTS/Electrical Equipment in support of the Dredge McFARLAND. The acquisition is for the dragarm hoist system, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) cabinets, remote jetting pump and dredge pump control panels and new local dredge engine control panels. The equipment is a necessary upgrade before the vessel is placed in ready reserve status. The award was to the responsible quoter whose offer conformed to the solicitation and represented the best value after evaluation in accordance with the factors and sub factors.
