- Notice of Intent to Sole Source Washington Headquarters Service, Acquisition and Procurement Office, on behalf of the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (OUSD), Acquisition Technology & Logistics (AT&L), Installations & Environment (I&E), Facility Energy Directorate, intends to award a sole source contract to Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc., under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This is a six (6) month bridge contract that will continue engineering management and staff support services for the Facility Energy Directorate, pending a full and open competition. Since the current contract expires June 1, 2010, the government intends to award the contract no later than June 2, 2010. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by 7 A.M. EDT, 28 May 2010 by e-mail to chris.tompson@whs.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete the development based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government reserves the right to cancel the Sole Source award. The cancellation notice will be posted on FedBizOps.
