- Sources Sought THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR BIDS. THERE IS NOT A SOLICITATION OR STATEMENT OF WORK AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. The stated Solicitation Number is used only as a reference number for this Sources Sought. The office of Mission Installation Contracting Command, Directorate of Contracting at Fort Polk, Louisiana is seeking Capabilities Statement from all qualified and interested parties from HUBZone Small Business firms to provide all labor, long leaf pine seedlings, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, supervision, supplies and perform all work required to plant seedlings. There are 264 acres to be hand-planted with approximately 142,032 seedlings on Fort Polk. Contractor will be responsible for the protection of seedlings from the sun, wind, and adverse termperatures. All debris to be removed from Fort Polk by the contractor. Interested contractors shall include the following information in their Capabilities Statement: a) HUBZONE category with proof of certification in CCR b) Limited references of past and/or recent projects of same or like services, and magnitude. c) Proof of capability to perform planting of seedling at the above mentioned magnitude, i.e. list equipment, number of employees, and past performance reference. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 115112 Soil Preparation, Planting, and Cultivating. Interested parties should review their Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE) and be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR). The contractor must have the capability to submit payment requests using the following electronic form: Wide Area WorkFlow-Receipt and Acceptance (WAWF-RA). Information regarding WAWF-RA is available on the Internet at https://wawf.eb.mil. The Capabilities Statement for this Sources Sought is not expected to be a proposal, but rather a short statement regarding the companys ability to demonstrate existing-or-developed expertise and experience in relation to planting services. This synopsis is for information purposes only and is neither to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation of the sources sought. Responses must be received no later than June 1, 2010 by 3:00 p.m., CENTRAL TIME.
