- The Regional Contracting Office, Marine Corps Base, Hawaii intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract to RDR, Inc., 5885 Trinity Parkway, Centerville, VA 20120. Services require the development of challenging Special Operation Force (SOF) specific scenarios based on specific CONPLANs, involving time-sensitive, crisis-action, and deliberate planning from the national (to include ambassadorial and interagency functions) to tactical unit levels. This exercise support requires development of Master Scenario Event Lists Geographic Combatant Commands (GCCs) and inter-agency partners. Implicit with all this, the requirement to understand the legal authorities and processes associated with obtaining and executing SOF operations under authorities specified. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 1 Jun 2010. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
