- Description
- This is a market survey issued to solicit statements of interest from sources that have capability to provide support services for FAA Civil Aerospace Medical Institute, Human Factors Research Division (see attached Draft Statement of Work). The services are follow-on to FAA Contract DTFAAC-05-D-00021 with Xyant Technology Inc. The FAA intends to acquire services for the performance period beginning October 2010. Responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. At this time the nature of the competition has not been determined. The FAA may decide to solicit in a full and open competition environment, or set aside all or part of the procurement for small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses that are certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA's 8(a) Program. The Market Survey will assist in determining the acquisition strategy, and obtain the information necessary to determine whether adequate competition exists to set-aside the competition among small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or 8(a) certified firms. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey, therefore any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendors' expense. Potential sources of these services are expected to be categorized in the Sector 541720 of the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS).
