- Description
- The PUMP, HYDRAULIC (NSN: 4320-00-420-3206; Part Number: IAWPurchase Description No. PD10WRGBGBEA03) is used to provide a source ofhigh pressure for proof testing pressure vessels. The unit is airoperated and will supply an output pressure of approximately 6000 psifrom an air supply of 100 psi, and is designed for use with portablewater. This requirement is for 1 EACH PRE-PRODUCTION UNIT/FIRST ARTICLE(CONTRACTOR TESTING WITH DATA REQUIRED (Test Plan/Procedure and TestInspection Report) and 2 EACH PRODUCTION QUANTITY IN BASIC PERIOD. Alsoincluded are, three (3) Option Periods. Option I is valid for 365 days,1-22 each; Option II is valid 730 days, 1-22 each; Option III is valid1095 days,1-22 each. The options may be exercised for Air Force orForeign Military Sales requirements. DELIVERY - ITEM 0001: Place of delivery for Pre-Production Unit/FirstArticle: FE2823, one (1) each. Place of deliveries for productionquantities: FE6021, one (1) each; FE5284, one (1) each. First articleis due 30 calendar days ARO Approval of Test Inspection Report; Testplan/procedure is due 45 calendar days ARO contract; Test InspectionReport is due 180 calendar days ARO contract; Production quantities aredue 180 calendar days ARO Approval of Test Inspection Report. Deliveryof options is 180 calendar days after exercise of option. The locationis to be determined. The purchase description will be made available online, once the requestfor quotation (RFQ) is posted. The approximate RFQ issue date is Tuesday, 1 June 2010; quotations aredue on 25 June 2010. Electronic procedures will be used for thissolicitation at www.fedbizopps.gov ONLY. Offerors shall prepare their quotations in accordance with mandatory,explicit, and detailed instructions contained in the RFQ. The Governmentwill evaluate past performance utilizing the Past PerformanceInformation Retrieval System (PPIRS). Quotes will be evaluated andaward made in accordance with the evaluation criteria stated in the RFQ.OFFERORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REVIEW RATINGS IN PPIRS FORACCURACY, AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. This is a total small business set-aside. All responsible sources maysubmit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by theagency. All questions regarding the RFQ should be submitted in writing toKrystle.Wilkerson@robins.af.mil with copy to Dawn.McCurdy@robins.af.mil.QUESTIONS VIA EMAIL ARE PREFERRED.
