Description

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to award a sole source contract to Pink OTC Markets, Inc. Pink OTC Markets, Inc. provides online access to OTCQuote.com, which provides real-time and historical trading and market data from the over-the-counter (OTC) market and FINRA OTC Bulletin Board electronic quotation systems. Pink OTC Markets, Inc. is the only known vendor capable of providing the data that is required by the Commission. The period of performance for this purchase order is one year, effective June 1, 2010. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1), implemented by FAR 6.302-1 – Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The SEC intends to negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1; Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested organizations may submit their capability statements and qualifications for the provision of this requirement. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements. This is a Notice of Intent, not a solicitation. No solicitation will be issued for this sole source requirement and no other information will be provided.
