Description
REQUEST FOR INFORMATION/INTERESTED VEDNORS/CAPABLE VENDORS SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUNSINESSES The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 601 Hwy 6 West, Iowa City, IA. 52246 is seeking information and interested Service Disabled Veteran Owned (SDVOSB) offerors for the following services: Native Ethernet between address: VAMC 601 Hwy 6 West, Iowa City, IA and address: VAMC Business Office Annex at 2650 Mormon Trek, Suite 100, Iowa City, Iowa at a capacity of 100 megabits per second. The terminating connectivity should be Qmoe (fiber). The service shall be layer two connectivity without routing. This requirement is for a native point to point Ethernet connection and cannot be Ethernet running over other protocols such as ATM. Qmoe (fiber) desired. Current service cannot be disrupted. Offerors offering no additional or increase cost for equipment or installation get first consideration. You may contact the technical point of contact with questions. Do not discuss price or business size, type - i.e. Veteran Owned with technical point of contact. Do not discuss contract terms with technical point of contact. Utilize technical point of contact only to determine if you can meet the scope of work as stated above and by the date: 9/30/2010. Report any changes or clarifications in the scope of work to the contracting officer immediately. Does you firm offer these services? How soon can they be in place and at what price? Let the contracting officer know via email. The contracting officer may sole source this requirement. the contracting officer may be contemplating a base plus four option years.
