- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to award on a sole-source basis to MBS Electronic Systems GMBH, Karin Nicholls, Ringstr. 3, Starnberg Bavaria 82319 for thirteen (13) Ethernet /1553 Interface Cards (P/N AE1553 BCRT-EP) and thirteen (13) External Power Supply Units as they are the only cards that will meet the Government's needs. MBS Electronic Systems GMBH is the developer and manufacturer of the proprietary items. There are no authorized resellers available. FOB Destination to Dahlgren, VA shall apply. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized in accordance with FAR Part 13. The North American industry Classification System code is 334119, 1000 employees. The closing date is 03 June 2010.
