- Sources Sought Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) Development, Pre-Planned Product Improvements, and may include Post Deployment Software Support and other Associated Activities Contract POCs: Jill Edwards, 407-380-4030, jill.edwards@us.army.mil or Matt Sanders, 407-208-3327, matthew.sanders6@us.army.mil Additional Information URL: http://www.peostri.army.mil/PMConSim/ Closing Date: 18 June 2010, 1:00pm EST Command: PEO STRI Brief Summary: The US Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) Acquisition Center in Orlando, FL is developing an acquisition strategy to award a Contract for the effort required to continue the software design, development, integration, test, install, management, documentation, and delivery of the Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) for the Project Manager Constructive Simulation. JLCCTC is a software modeling and simulation capability that contributes to the Army Training Mission Area by providing appropriate levels of model and simulation resolution and fidelity to support unit collective and combined arms training. This system of systems provides accurate representations of tactically and operationally relevant land warfare operations executed in a contemporary Joint operating environment/context. JLCCTC is the Armys constructive simulation toolkit, supporting institutional and operational unit training for both active component and reserve component units providing capabilities across Full Spectrum Operations. Viability is ensured through a Verification, Validation and Accreditation (VV&A) process. JLCCTC and associated software tools are required to compose, initialize, operate, tune, and maintain a synthetic operational environment. The support services anticipated for this effort are Information Assurance (IA) support; engineering support; software support; lab support; integration and testing support; technical documentation support; and equipment set-up/initialization support. Anticipate the period of performance will begin in FY12 with a two year base period and three one-year options. This effort is estimated at $15-30M annually.
