- RECOVERY This notice is provided for informational purposes only. NASA LaRCintends to issue a modification to Task Order NNL06AA74T for Simulation and FlightInformation Technology Services (SAFITS) with Unisys Corporation to incorporate theproposed requirement titled Integrated Intelligent Flight Deck Project SimulationDevelopment. This proposed requirement falls within Section C.3.3 Research Projects ofthe Statement of Work and includes 1) the preparatory work for installing ocolumeters andphysiological equipment in a NASA owned flight simulator; 2) simulation development,checkout, production and data analysis and archival of NextGen Displays and Decisionsupport technologies and operation concepts in the NASA LaRC Research Flight DeckSimulator; and 3) evaluation of new concepts for the integration and fusion of syntheticand enhanced vision of support of all weather operations for NextGen. This effort willbe funded by ARRA and is in support of NASA Aeronautics Aviation Safety Program. Thisannouncement will not result in a Request for Proposal; this announcement is forinformational purposes only. An Ombudsman has been appointed. See NASA Specific Note 'B'.
