- Z- Clarks Canyon Culvert Replacement on the Helena Ranger District Project Location - The culvert is located on Forest Service Road No. 4005-A1, milepost 0.05, at the Clarks Canyon Creek stream crossing. The project is located in the Helena Ranger District of the Helena National Forest, approximately 6 miles north of Elliston, MT in Powell County, Montana (Section 2, Township 10 North, Range 7 West). Description of Work - The project consists of the removal of an existing CMPA culvert, furnishing and installation of a new 128” span, 83” rise, corrugated steel pipe-arch. Improvements consist of, but are not limited to, structure excavation, excavation and re-shaping of the channel, placement of in-stream cross-vane structures, placement of riprap, installation of the culvert structure, embankment and excavation of the roadway approaches, and roadway surfacing. Price Range is Between $25,000 and $100,000 All in-stream work must be completed between July 15th and September 1st. Estimated date of solicitation posting is early June 2010.
