- This solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about June 14, 2010. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED, AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.The Department of Interior, National Park Service, Great Basin National Park intends to issue a solicitation for the striping of approximately 12.6 miles of standard painted traffic striping of roadway located in Great Basin National Park, Baker, NV. This area is located at the end of Nevada State Highway 488 starting at the park boundary. The work is to include provision of all labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, services, permits, licensing and transportation to accomplish striping. Specifically, the work is to provide striping of 12.6 miles of roadway in mid to late July of 2010 weather permitting but no later than September 1, 2010. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the price range for this contract is between $25,000 and $100,000. This solicitation is intended to be a "Best Value" procurement with past experience to be equal to price in the selection of a successful offeror. Award may be made to a firm other than that offering the lowest price. Any interested firm shall be able to provide a list of previous jobs showing experience in completion of the work described above. No pre-bid walk through will be held for this project. Responses will be due approximately 30 days following issuance of the solicitation. The NAICS code for this procurement is 237310 and the business size is $33,500,000. This procurement is set-a-side for small businesses. Award will be made to the most responsive, responsible firm. The project will be completed in Great Basin National Park and administered by Death Valley National Park. Quotes will be due July 14, 2010, by close of business.
