- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command-West, Presidio of Monterey has a new requirement for the installation of a security fence at Van Deman Hall USARC, Naval Training Center, 2400 Admiral Baker Road, San Diego, CA. The intent of this project is to install a new 7 high tubular steel fence across the front of the center, along with a 6 ft high - 9 gage chain link fence on each end that will go to the existing fencing. Chain link fencing will have barb wire on top. Replace existing steel guard rail posts in front of building. All demolished material shall be removed from the site and disposed of at a certified landfill. Solicitation number W9124N-10-R-0070 will be available on or about 4 June 2010. A SITE VISIT is scheduled for 08 June 2010 at 9:00 AM (PST). Site Visit location is: Van Deman Hall USARC, 2400 Admiral Baker Road, San Diego, CA. 92120-2379. The primary Site Visit POC is Steve Berger (714) 262-5989. Alternate Site Visit POC: Wayne Alves, (562) 795-1444. Proposals are due Monday, 14 June 2010 at 4:30 pm (PST). This acquisition is a 100 percent set aside for HUBZONE Small Business firms only. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238990 with a size standard of $14.0M. Performance period is 120 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Estimated magnitude for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Payment and performance bonds are required for this project and must be submitted within fifteen days after contract award. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. Solicitation number W9124N-10-R-0070 will be available on or about 4 June 2010 on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website (http://www.fbo.gov) and the Army Single Face to Industry (AFSI) website (https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/).
