- DESCRIPTION The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to obtain Hazardous Waste Management services for Veterans Affairs Northern California Health Care System (VANCHCS) facilities. Sites include nine VANCHCS Medical centers or Outpatient Clinics (OPC): Sacramento Medical Center at Mather, Redding OPC, Chico OPC, McClellan OPC, Martinez OPC, Fairfield OPC, Mare Island OPC, Oakland OPC and Oakland Mental Health Clinic or other VANCHCS interests. The Contractor shall provide all vehicles, personnel, management, supplies, transportation, equipment and reports necessary to provide Hazardous Waste Management services, The NAICS code 562112 applies with a size standard of less than 500 employees. This acquisition is set-aside to Service Disable Veterans Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The contract will be a requirement type and is expected to include a base year beginning July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011, with four one-year options. The solicitation number for this RFP is VA-261-10-RP-0260. The solicitation will be issued on or about June 02, 2010 with an anticipated proposal due date of June 14, 2010. The Offeror is responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the website listed above, without further notification from the VA Contracting Officer.
