Description
In accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration's Acquisition Management System, 3.2.1.2.12, the Northwest Mountain Region is announcing a solicitation for competitive offers to perform the subject project. The Federal Aviation Administration, Northwest Mountain Region, intends to award a construction contract for the subject project. The FAA contemplates award of a firm fixed-price contract. Magnitude of construction is from $500,000-$750,000. Tiered Evaluation. A tiered evaluation of offers will be used in source selection for this contract. The NAICS Code for this project is 237130. The Small Business Administration Size Standard for NAICS Code is $33.5. Project Scope: Work includes but is not limited to: Installation of approximately 184,000 linear feet of Government furnished outdoor fiber optic cable and 10,500 linear feet of indoor/outdoor fiber optic cable. The installation will be in five (5) phases (locations) on FAA Radar and Navigational Facilities on Denver International Airport. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT short Term receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
