Description
Draft SOW for Sources Sought RFI The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) anticipates procurement of multifunctional color network printers during the 4th quarter of FY2010 using FAR Part 12 procedures. Solicitation release is anticipated in June 2010. The FCC requests information from small businesses - that meet the United States Small Business Administration (SBA) small business size requirement for North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 423430 (Computer and Computer Peripheral Equipment and Software Merchant Wholesalers) - that can provide multifunctional color network printers and maintenance support at the FCC Headquarters in Washington, D.C. for a one-year period plus four (4) one-year option periods. The FCC is interested in obtaining information about the capabilities of small businesses that have the management, technical and staffing capability as described in the attached DRAFT Statement of Work to both supply and provide on-site maintenance service for multifunctional color network printers. The FCC estimates the total number of multifunctional color network printers to be purchased and maintained over the next five years at FCC Headquarters is 200. Sources that can provide such supplies and services are requested to submit a capabilities white paper no longer than 10 pages (single-sided page, 1 inch margins with 12 point font size) that provides the following information: 1. Company Name, Address, and Point of Contact 2. Company Size and business classification (e.g. HUB Zone, small, small disadvantaged, small disadvantaged veteran owned small business, small woman-owned, large business) 3. Key information on your company's management, technical and staffing capabilities to meet the above supply and service requirements; 4. Examples of successful delivery of on-site printer maintenance services for customers in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. This RFI does not represent a contract, a promise to contract or a commitment of any kind on the part of the FCC. The Government does not intend to award a contract solely on the basis of the RFI, nor will the Government pay for information received in response to this RFI. Submitted documents will NOT be returned. The objective of this RFI is to obtain market research in order to assist acquisition planning. All proprietary and restricted information shall be clearly marked.
