- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, intends to purchase the following the following Sun V490 server manufactured by Sun Microsystems. Although this is a Sole Source requirement, Authorized Resellers are encouraged to provide quotations. Note: Those not authorized by Sun Microsystems as Resellers will be rejected. Offerors will be required to provide proof of their Authorized Reseller status with their quote if not listed on the Sun Microsystems Authorized Reseller site: http://partneradvantage.sun.com/catalog/search/home.jsf?src=_. Any not listed who have not provided proof with their response to this Synopsis will be rejected. This is a Sole Source requirement and no substitutes to the Sun V490 server identified below will be considered, any deviations will be rejected. Any bidder presented as GSA which does not provide proof of GSA may be rejected. Delivery is required within 30 days of award. Any offerors who cannot meet this requirement shall state so in their offer and provide an alternative for consideration. These items will be acquired utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. The closing date is 7 June 2010 at 1200, noon, Eastern Time.
