- Description
- The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to enter into a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00024-10-G-4313 for Virginia Class shipbuilder specific coded stock parts and material in support of emergent submarine work. The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to place Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00024-10-G-4313 with Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding, (4101 Washington Avenue, Newport News, VA 23607-2770), and to issue orders from 01 September 2010 through 31 August 2013. Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 USC 2304(c)(1), only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other types of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed BOA is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.303. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Electric Boat Corporation directly. See Numbered Note 22. This announcement is restricted to nuclear-qualified shipyards. Offerors interested in obtaining information about this announcement, should submit requests in writing to Marina E.
