- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F3Z1600115A001; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-41, effective date 13 May 2010; Defense DCN 20100519, effective date 19 May 2010; and AFAC 2010-0402 effective date 02 Apr 2010. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811310. The business size standard is $7.0 million. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is J046. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 7699. Travis AFB intends to award a sole source purchase order for the following requirement: CLIN 0001: Service/Repair 62 Manual Reverse Osmosis Desalinators (MRODs). Service includes: Salt water flush and pressure test; Fresh water flush and biocide dip; rebuild pump as needed (repair internal leaks and replace seals); Replace membrane, as needed; install new hoses and clean unit, as needed; and visually inspect, repackage, and provide return transportation. Qty: 1 Lot Award shall be made in the aggregate, all or none. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items: (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
