- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request lodging for Sixty-five (65) Double Rooms from 5-6 June 2010; Sixty-five (65) Double Rooms from 12-18 June 2010 in Conroe, TX. Location must not be further than a 20 mile radius from Conroe, TX. Rooms must have TV, cleaning service on daily basis (which includes changing bed sheets at least weekly or upon personnel rotations, complimentary breakfast, self service laundry, complimentary parking, wirelss internet, refrigeratior and microwave in each room. This is not a solicitation for Event Planning Services. For a proposal submitted by an offeror that is not a hotel, the offeror must describe in its proposal the technical approach for the offeror's services as a prime contractor(copy of subcontract/agreement, etc) and must also include a copy of all insurance (s) (standard business, liability, extraordinary insurances) in order to submit a complete technical proposal for evaluation purposes. (Again, this is not a solicitation for Event Planning Services. An offer which requires the Government to execute a separate agreement with a third party hotel shall be deemed technically unacceptable). The contracted hotel will invoice on the actual rooms used.
