- Description
- The US Army RDECOM Contracting Center, Natick Contracting Division, Natick, MA, has a requirement from the Mortuary Affairs Units to modify the existing MIRCS Contract W911QY-05-C-0091 for an additional Authorized Stockage List Spare Parts. Guild Associates of Dublin, OH is currently the only manufacturer of these parts for the systems deployed in theater. This acquisition will be procured under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c )(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), paragraph 6.302-1, entitled Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Mobil Integrated Remains Containers currently in theater can only these parts from Guild Assoc. and no other equal will satisfy the needs of the customer at this time.
