- BLCA QUARTERS FURNISHINGSNational Park Service (A) GENERAL INFORMATION:This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for furniture for a National Park Service facility, employee quarters. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are hereby being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. (B) AWARD INFORMATION The National Park Service contemplates award of a firm fixed price contract, as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation, to the quoter whose quotation provides the best value to the Government. The National Park Service intends to make award to the quoter who provides the lowest total quoted price, including any applicable freight. The government reserves the right to make multiple awards if it is found to be in the best interest of the government. Quotations are due by June 11, 2010. See sections I and N. (C) SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDEThe proposed contract is 100% set-aside for Small business concerns. All responsible small businesses may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the National Park Service (NPS). (D) SOLICITAION #: Q1379100055. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote. (E) NAICS code: 423210; Small business size standard: 100 employees. (F) The following contract line items may be quoted per the brand specified or via the characteristics that an "equal" item must meet to be acceptable for award. Any "equal" items quoted must be accompanied by a photograph of the particular item and if available, a web address where the item may be viewed. (G)Contract line items as follows: (1) Coaster Furniture Promenade Black Leather-Match Vinyl Reclining Sofa (153298) or equal. Equal characteristics - Reclining Sofa, Black Leather-Match vinyl, Constructed in solid hardwood, Leggett and Platt reclining mechanism to provide a smooth expandable capability, Sinuous spring system to ensures comfort and support, Standard foam cushion construction, Max size of 38" H x 39" W x 85" D. Qty 4 each (2)Coaster Furniture Promenade Recliner, Black (153353) or equal.Equal characteristics - Recliner, Black Leather-Match vinyl, Constructed in solid hardwood, Leggett and Platt reclining mechanism to provide a smooth expandable capability, Sinuous spring system to ensures comfort and support, Standard foam cushion construction, Max size 38" H x 39" W x 40" D, must match item number 1 above. Qty 4 each (3) Freight if applicable, shall be quoted FOB Destination. Note: Quoters shall submit a response/price for all line items as partial orders may be awarded. (H) EVALUATION CRITERIA:(1) Price(2) Ability to provide requested items to 81230 destination on or before July 13, 2010, if award is made by 15 June 2010. (I) QUOTATIONS: Quoters shall e-mail their quotations to Debra O'Hagan at debra_ohagan@nps.gov. Quotes shall be submitted to insure receipt by 2:00 pm local time (Gunnison, Colorado) Friday, June 11, 2010. The anticipated award date is on or about Tuesday, June 15, 2010. (K) DELIVERY SCHEDULE:Items requested and to be awarded are required at the final destination by July 13, 2010. (L) DESCRIPTIONThe requested items are supply items for the furnishing of employee quarters at a National Park Service location. The awarded vendor shall provide/ arrange transportation, FOB destination, to the receiving location facility. A point of contact for delivery will be made available upon award. (M) DELIVERABLESThe contractor shall provide and transport all the items requested and awarded to the receiving location on or before July 13, 2010. (N) SUBMITTALSCompleted quotation of all contract line items stated in section G of this solicitation, by June 11, 1010. See section I for instructions. Reps and Certs as stated in Section Q below. 52.204-8 Annual Representations and Certifications - the quoter shall complete and submit the provision to the Contracting Officer (submission/registration at https://orca.bpn.gov will be accepted). (O) MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENTPayment will be made via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) in accordance with the Prompt Payment Act, to the bank of record as recorded in the vendor's CCR registration. Any partial payments must be pre-approved by the Contracting Officer. (P) CCR REGISTRATIONAll vendors wishing to be considered for this solicitation must be successfully registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database by the date of proposal submission. Quotations received from quoters who have not successfully and completely registered in CCR by the proposal submission date will be considered as non-responsive and will be rejected. Registration in the CCR database may be completed via www.ccr.gov. CCR registration typically requires an average of five to seven business days for completion. (Q) CLAUSESThis solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR).
