- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for gravel prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; request for quotations (RFQ) are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Statement of Work:The material will be tailgate spread along Bruce Boulevard measuring 22' wide and 5.2 miles long to a depth of 4". Certain sections will need additional material as directed by the local office representative. Proposals will be evaluated on the basis of total cost (all or nothing). Please include delivery in your price. Proposals with fuel surcharge formals will not be accepted. The local refuge contact will coordinate with the supplier to develop a delivery schedule. Deliveries will need to begin on August 2nd (pending weather). The plan will require the supplier to deliver a minimum of 20 yards of material per truck with 4 trucks per trip. Deliveries will be coordinated with a larger maintenance program in progress at this time. Deliveries are expected to continue daily until the requirements have been met and will need to be available 7 days a week (including Saturday and Sundays).
