This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Reference Number N4561010RC00036 is issued as a request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This solicitation is ONE HUNDRED PERCENT SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. NAICS 238320. The Navy Consolidated Brig, Charleston, SC requires the following: (1) Pressure washing of the exterior of Building C6. Pressure wash the whole building simple green. Qty 1 Each.(2) Material to Repaint the exterior with two coats DTM direct to metal. (3) Labor for painting Building C6, Qty 1 Each. (4) Pressure washing of exterior of Building C8 with simple green. Qty 1 Each. (5) Material to Repaint Building C8 with two coats of DTM direct to metal, Qty 1 Each, (6) Labor for painting Building C8, Qty 1 Each. (7) Remove and reinstall Razor Wire. Qty 1 Each. STATEMENT OF WORK: The pressure washing of the buildings will feature environmental friendly products to remove mildew, mold, and oxidation. The paint that will be used is DTM (Direct to Metal Acrylic Latex paint). There will be a thirty day warranty against popping, pealing, or cracking but not against damage caused by maintenance, lawn, or otherwise, or fencing around building including razor wire. Contractor is responsible for removing and reinstalling razor wire. Safety: The painting of building C6 and C8 will use comprehensive safety features ensuring the safest environmental cleaning products and installation of new paint. Government requires two (2) coats of DTM (Direct to Metal Acrylic Latex Paint). To ensure the quality of paint being sprayed on building C6 and C8, all paint must be commercial grade DTM. Durability: The paint must fully cover building C6 and C8 within two (2) weeks of contract start date and continue to function with minimal corrective maintenance for the extent of the contractors and manufactures warranty. Due to strict time constraints to spray on paint, there must be little to no delay in bringing the completed job to full operational status following end date. Thus the Navy requires the paint to be sprayed on with the greatest extent possible.
