Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included with or attached to this notice. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-41 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION. This requirement is 100% set-aside for Small Business. The Marine Corps Logistics Command (MCLC) Albany, Georgia intends to solicit and award a Firm Fixed Price contract for this requirement. The supplies will be solicited and awarded as commercial items in accordance with procedures prescribed in FAR Parts 12 and 13.5. The North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code 333298 All Other Industrial Machinery Manufacturing; Size Standard 500 employees. The government reserves the right to make one or no award resulting from this solicitation. Notes: 1.Vendors proposing must provide proof of experience in this type of work. Provide at least 1 example where your company has designed, developed and built equipment with similar or the same characteristics/specifications as the requirements stated in this solicitation. Example should provide who it was for, when the work was completed and a contact name and phone number as a reference. 2. This has two phases: a design phase and a build phase. 3. Each CLIN has a desired delivery schedule. CLIN 0001: Develop and provide a Hydraulic Hose Tester in accordance with Statement of Requirement delivered in accordance with proposed delivery schedule. Sub-CLIN 1001: Design Phase - Provide approval drawings of Hydraulic Hose Tester not later than 3 weeks after receipt of contract. Sub-CLIN 2001: Development Phase - Develop/Build Hydraulic Hose Tester in accordance with Government Approved Design/Drawings and deliver product to Government not later than 10 weeks after receiving approved Design/Drawings. Sub-CLIN 3001: On-Site Testing/Training Phase - Vendor shall test and train at the Government facility up to four (4) people for two (2) days at 8 hours each day. Ship to: Marine Corps Logistics Command, Maintenance Center, Albany, GA 31704. FOB Destination pricing is required. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. The evaluation criteria for this procurement in order of importance are price and delivery.
