- Description
- The USGS Alaska Science Center, Anchorage AK, requires 192 each 12 VDC, lead/ acid, AGM batteries to power volcanic sensors in Alaska. Any vendor who can provide the batteries meeting the specific specifications may contact the Contracting Officer at sevans@usgs.gov for a copy of RFQ 10WRQQ0204. The batteries must be approximately 12"x6.5"x9", (LHW), capacity.100Ah at 100 hour rate, M8 stlye, threaded insert terminals with associated bolts, nuts, and washers. Shipping weight should not exceed 70lbs. Battery must perform in a temperature range of -20F to 100+F. The batteries must be rechargeable and suitable for use in solar and wind powered systems. The batteries must be sealed. Delivery must be on or before 07/31/2010. All prospective vendors must be active in CCR and current in ORCA.
