- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division intends to solicit Undersea Systems International on a sole source basis for source controlled drawing - Through Water Communication Kit components. These Through Water Communication Kit components will be utilized in existing systems. These components have been through operational and technical evaluation. Once a system is certified, using alternate equipment would prove costly to the government and the mission. Any variance in the equipment used in a certified system would jeopardize the certification of the system and ultimately the mission. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Therefore, it is in the Government's best interest to purchase these Through Water Communication Kit components from Undersea Systems International, since it provides for commonality between systems and reduced integration costs. These units will be delivered to the Naval Support Activity - Panama City, Receiving Officer, Building 100, 110 Vernon Avenue, Panama City, FL 32407. NAICS CODE: 334419.
