- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The VA National Acquisition Center will issue Request for Proposal (RFP) VA-797-10-RP-0071 for an unrestrictive procurement for Enalapril Tablets, for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Department of Defense (DoD), Indian Health Service (IHS) and Bureau of Prisons (BOP). The estimated annual usage is as follows: 15,201 bottles of 10mg Tabs in 100s; 19,896, bottles of 10mg tabs in 500s or 9,948 bottles of 10mg Tabs in 1000s; 10,740, bottles of 2.5mg Tabs in 100s; 4,218, bottles of 2.5mg Tabs in 500s or 2,109, bottles of 2.5mg Tabs in 1000s; 7,391, bottles of 20mg Tabs in 100s; 35,367, bottles of 20mg Tabs in 500s or 17,684, bottles of 20mg Tabs in 1000s; 6,547, bottles of 5mg Tabs in 100s; 14,864, bottles of 5mg Tabs in 500s or 7,432, bottles of 5mg Tabs in 1000s. The estimated annual usage listed above is for VA, DoD, Indian Health Service (IHS) and Bureau of Prisons (BOP). VA reserves the right to add additional package sizes to the contract at a later date, when they become available or if offered in a vendor's proposal. This will not affect the quantities listed in the usage requirements. The contract period will be for one year plus two one-year option periods. The contract items will be distributed through the VA and DoD's respective Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor(s). Offeror's must state the exact name (name that appears on label) by which the drug will be supplied and have a unique 11-digit NDC number. If the offeror is not a manufacturer, a signed agreement between the offeror and the manufacturer must be submitted with the offer and remain in effect for the duration of the contract period including the option years. Solicitation No VA-797-10-RP-0071 will be electronically issued in commercial item format in accordance with FAR Part 12 on or about June 15, 2010 with a closing date of June 30, 2010. The NAICS code for this procurement is 325412. Any future amendments and other miscellaneous documents will be available electronically for download at the following URL: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. No paper copies of the solicitation will be available, and no telephone requests for paper copies of the solicitation will be accepted.
