Description

The United States Special Operations Command invites contractors to submit proposals in response to the attached Request For Proposal (RFP) for the Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) Contract. The ITSM contract is the first in a series of Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contracts (SITEC) and will support the SOCOM Information Technology Management Office in the management of Data Center, Distributive Computing, Enterprise Networks, Application Management, IT Production and Specialty Services for the SOF Information Enterprise (SIE). The services are currently acquired under USSOCOM's Enterprise Information Technology Contract (EITC) and Tactical Local Area Network (TACLAN) Contract. Both contract the EITC and TACLAN contracts will be completed by 31 March 2011. Please email questions concerning the RFP in an email with "SITEC ITSM RFP Questions" in the title to Contracting@socom.mil by 14 June 2010. All questions, comments and Government responses will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fbo.gov ). To assist offerors in preparing proposals the Government is creating a Bidder's Library. Instructions on accessing the library are attached to this notice. The Government anticipates they will begin populating the library in mid to late May.
