- Description
- The Department of Veteran's Affairs, VISN 20 Services Contracting Division, East Branch, Boise, Idaho has a requirement for a contractor capable of providing Homeless Veteran Transition Housing & Care Services in the Boise, Idaho service area. This will include Room and Board Services for Homeless, Seriously Mental Ill Veterans (Therapeutic, Rehabilitative, and Recovery Services). This requirement is designed to serve homeless veterans in need of immediate placement and/or emergency housing in a safe environment. The contractor shall provide up to six (6) beds at any one time. Contract requirements, quotation requirements and evaluation criteria will be covered in detail in the Solicitation and Statement of Work. Anticipated date for posting the Request for Quotation (RFQ)is on or around June 11, 2010. This requirement is for commercial services in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12 in conjunction with FAR Part 13, as supplemented with additional information as needed. All contractual and technical questions must be in writing (e-mail or fax). Only written requests received directly from the requester are acceptable (Telephone questions will not be accepted). Preference is that you send your correspondence through email to: Michael.willis@va.gov. If requesting by FAX, you may send your request 208-429-2025, ATTN: Mike Willis. The government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Requirements Contract. It is anticipated that the period of performance will be for one base year (date of award to 30 September 2010, plus 2 one-year option periods. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The RFQ will only be available on the FedBizOpps website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Accordingly, prospective contractors may view and/or download the solicitation and all amendments from the site. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. The North American Industry Code for this procurement is "623220" for (Residential Mental Health & Substance Abuse Facilities), and the size standard is $7 million. To be eligible for award, offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) at www.ccr.gov or by contacting the CCR Information Center at 1-888-227-2423. Offerors shall identify the size of their business in accordance with this NAICS Code. Additionally, Representations and Certifications must be completed at http://orca.bpn.gov, or if offerors are not registered via the ORCA website, offerors must complete and return a copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items with their offer. These representations and certifications will be incorporated by reference in any resultant contract.
