- Description
- In-Kingdom (Saudi Arabia) Communication and Computer Support One basic and four (4) 1-year option periods. This effort is communication and computer support for systems in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and operating locations within the Continental United States (CONUS) which may be USG or contractor facilities. The support and assistance is required to meet stated objectives of DCMA, DCAA, USMTM, Peace Sun, Peace Shield, and AWACS. There are approximately 450 users spread among these activities. The contractor shall identify, address, summarize, and determine system functional elements such as client workstation support, Local-Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), Video Teleconferencing (VTC), multimedia, short-term/long term planning and telephone systems as determined by the government. The functional areas include engineering, data management, configuration management, test and evaluation, Information Assurance and Security, financial database design and support, communication support, familiarization requirements and other requirements identified by the USAF. The contractor provides client workstation support, Local Area Networks (LANs), Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs), Video Teleconferencing (VTC), multimedia, telephone systems, Microwave (MW) and Satellite Networks. Also required is support for local ALCs and facilities at Riyadh, Dhahran, Taif, Tabuk and Khamis, Saudi Arabia. To be considered, offerors must show evidence of a business license or sponsorship agreement with a Saudi Arabian company serving as a sponsor that authorizes the contractor to work in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as Satellite Landing Rights for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
