- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Boise VAMC, 500 West Fort St., Boise, Idaho 83702 anticipates soliciting bids and subsequently awarding a firm fixed price contract for the construction project known as "Construct Research Education Building, Project 531-316". The solicitation will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 15 negotiated request for proposals (RFP) and will be awarded after a "Lowest Price Technically Acceptable" evaluation IAW FAR 15.101-2. The solicitation is advertised as a Total Set-Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. All prospective offerors shall be certified and registered in VETBIZ.GOV. The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, equipment, materials and supervision to Construct Research Education Building at the Boise VA Medical Center. Project will include constructing a two story, approximately18, 240 square feet building. It will include laboratory, office space, classroom space and supporting specialized research equipment laboratories for approximately 12 investigators and their technicians with a primary emphasis on Biomedical Research. A SITE VISIT IS SCHEDULE FOR FRIDAY, JUNE 11, 2010 @ 9:00AM, MST. AT THE VA MEDICAL CENTER, 500 WEST FORT ST., BOISE, IDAHO. CONTACT PAMELA POPE (208) 429-2017. The period of performance is 450 calendar days for the entire project. The cost range of this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. A site visit is schedule to occur on June 11, 2010 @ 9:00 am, at VA Medical Center, 500 West Fort St. Boise, Idaho, Building 50. Only one site visit will be conducted. Bids will be due approximately 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. No bidder list is maintained by the Contracting Office. All potential bidders should register on this website as interested vendors.
