Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Cell Biosciences, 2401 Merced Street, Suite 100, San Leandro, CA 94577, for the following equipment: FluorChem HD2 System, 110v, which includes a 4.19MP camera with 16-bit A/D, cooled to -25C absolute and regulated, MultiImage II Light Cabinet (DE-5500FC), orange filter, white light table, adjustable tray kit, nm dual-wavelength, dual-intensity transilluminator, epi white lights, AlphaView HD2 System Software, and two stand-alone licenses, 110v; Manual Fixed Lens 50mm, F0.95 for FluorChem HD2; Dell Computer configured for optimal imaging system performance; and green filter for gels or plates stained with Green Fluorescent Protein stains (proprietary optical characteristic), SYBR Safe, SYBR Gold, Fluorescein, SYBR Green. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 6.302-2. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued.
