- DRAFT Offer Submission Package This is the synopsis for the annual Bulk Fuel procurement for the Inland/East Coast/Gulf/Offshore region. The ordering period is the date of award through March 31, 2012. The delivery period is April 1, 2011 through March 31, 2012, with a 30-day carryover. The method of delivery will be tanker, barge, truck, railcar, and/or pipeline. The total estimated quantities are as follows: Turbine Fuel, Aviation, JP8 NSN: 9130-01-031-5816 PP 2.2a 1,063,907,000 USG Turbine Fuel, Aviation, JP5 NSN: 9130-00-273-2379 PP 2.2c 264,185,000 USG Turbine Fuel, Aviation, JAA* NSN: 9130-00-359-2026 PP 2.2a 80,090,000 USG Fuel, Naval Distillate, F76 NSN: 9140-00-273-2377 PP 2.5a 157,790,000 USG *JAA is the product code for Jet A. Solicition SP0600-11-R-0061 is anticipated to be issued on July 29, 2010. Please be aware that this date is tentative and me be subject to change. A portion of the products solicited will be set-aside for small businesses. Some quantities may be set-aside as 8(a) reservations. DESC is unable to accept any offers from small businesses for which the same quantities are being used as supply commitments for the 8(a) program. Copies of the Inland/East Coat/Gulf/Offshore RFP will be available at the Defense Energy Support Center home page (www.desc.dla.mil) and/or the Federal Business Opportunities home page (www.fbo.gov). A posting notice will be sent to firms on the solicitation mailing list on the date the Inland/East Coast/Gulf/Offshore RFP is issued and posted on the DESC home page and/or the Federal Business Opportunities home page. Requests for paper copies of this RFP or the posting notice must be submitted via fax to (703)767-9269, ATTN: Melissa Vandyne/DESC-BCA, or via e-mail to melissa.vandyne@dla.mil. Offerors are required to complete, sign, and return the document entitled Offer Submission Package to the Bid Custodian as directed in the RFP. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered.
