- This announcement constitutes the only pre-solicitation notice; proposals are being requested. The Request for Proposal (RFP) N00174-10-R-0024 will be the only written solicitation which will be issued, unless amended. The anticipated release date for the solicitation is June 2, 2010. This requirement is 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The NAICS code is 332995. The size standard is 500 employees. The FSC code is 1340. This component is on the Indian Head Division Qualified Bidders List (QBL). Offerors who successfully manufacture the item and pass all other QBL requirements will be placed on a QBL. Multiple Awards are anticipated. Basic Overview of Requirement: This specification covers the requirements for the CKU-7 track which is an external part on the CKU-7 rocket catapult. Its function is to set the proper nozzle angle for the unit as the man seat exits the cockpit of the aircraft. Parts will be machined from stock as opposed to past requirements of being cast made. Applicable Drawings & Specifications: The contractor shall use the following documents and drawings as required: ASME Y14.5M, ASME Y14.100-2000, SAE-AMS-6360L, MIL-STD-100Drawing Number: SK09042-E212F Sheet 1, SK09042-E212F Sheet 2., 5134307 REV. D IF INTERESTED, PLEASE DOWNLOAD THIS SOLITATION. Copies of solicitation N00174-10-R-0024 will NOT be emailed, faxed, mailed or provided in person. These types of request WILL NOT BE ACKNOWLEDGED. This synopsis and solicitation will be posted to both Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and Navy Electronic Commerce On-Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil.
